During the ordering process, we obtain billing, mailing and other information to better serve you as a customer. You have the option to create an account upon purchase, but this is optional.

We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. Checks, and other paper forms of payment, are not accepted. When you purchase a product online, your credit card is charged when you order, and your credit card information is never reused except to issue refunds or make other required adjustments.

This website takes every precaution to protect our customer and user information. When ordering with HJELM Furniture we utilize a secure server, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, that creates a secure transaction environment for commerce on the Internet.
Any access to our customer database, shipping, order transaction, customer service and billing is individually password protected and is limited to those employees who need to perform specific functions.
Our goal is to deliver your purchase as quickly as possible. All orders have a processing time of 48 hours if the merchandise is in stock, and two (2) weeks if not. Deliveries to the 48 contiguous states will be made via USPS, UPS or by common carrier depending on the overall weight of your order.
In stock orders will be received in 1-3 weeks or sooner with faster shipping method. Tracking numbers will be sent for all UPS and FedEx orders.

Every item is carefully inspected before leaving our facility. HJELM Furniture does not accept returns for any reason other than manufacturer defect or shipping error. Orders may be changed or cancelled with approval, prior to shipment.
In the event that damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in manufacturing, outside of natural cause, please email us within 7 days at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order customer information. All returns must be pre- authorized with an RMA number.
Return shipping charges + 20% restocking fee apply for ALL returns and exchanges and are the customers responsibility no matter what the reason for the return. HJELM Furniture employees will inspect the product before refund is issued.

products made by HJELM Furniture pieces are hand-crafted from naturally occurring materials, and minor blemishes and imperfections may be visible. These are not considered defects and do not interfere with the quality and function of the product.
Current production run are two piece structures with slight assembly and are UPS-able. We also ship USPS, Fedex Ground, UPS, etc.
HJELM Furniture guarantees that all products sold from our facilities are free from manufacturing faults and defects at the point of original delivery. We guarantee the materials used to construct our products for a period of 3 years from that date. In the event that a product is proven to be defective, you are entitled to the restoration of the goods through repair or replacement, whichever is decided as being the most efficient and effective remedy. Please refer to CARE & MAINTENANCE for any questions pertaining to those topics.
It should also be noted that the warranty does NOT cover:
- Degradation of finish caused by environmental factors.
- Any breakage caused by negligent and/or improper use of the goods.
- Changes caused by normal wear and tear.
- Any damage caused by lack of and/or erroneous maintenance.
